Serve In Our Church

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
The ESOL ministry teaches people to improve their English, and introduces them to the teachings of Jesus.  ESOL meets every Wednesday morning during the school year from 9:30 AM to 12 PM in the East Wing. Volunteers will be teachers and conversation partners. Free childcare for children 2 months to 4 years in the West Wing where the church offices are located. Classes begin September 9th.   • 9:45 AM – Announcements and Devotional
  • 10 AM – English Class (no cost)
  • 11 AM – Special Classes (Bible Study, Ceramics, Citizenship, Conversation)

Girls in Action (GAs)
For girls in grades 1-5. This is a dynamic missions discipleship that teaches girls how to actively serve Christ in their communities. GAs meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:55 to 7:40 PM on the second floor of the West Wing. For more information contact Charlotte Mitchell.

Royal Ambassadors (RAs)
For boys in grades 1-5. Royal Ambassadors teach boys about missions and how they can be personally involved in practical missions experiences. RAs meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:55 to 7:40 PM in W216 The Great Room. For more information contact David Conway.

Mission Friends
Preschoolers gain a strong foundation and developmentally appropriate missions learning experiences to help preschoolers understand ways they can help others know about God’s love and forgiveness. Mission Friends meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:55 to 7:40 PM in W112 Mountaineers and W119 Campers. For more information contact Brittney Zapata or Candace Legere.

Seafarers
Donations are collected, and individual boxes are assembled with toiletries, food, and games and gift-wrapped to distribute to Seafarers at the Port of Houston during the Christmas season.  For more information, contact Deanna Fry.
