Where is God? Do we wish he would come down? What is God doing? Has he capitulated to our culture of consumerism? Is he codependently seeking our approval? No. As our songs say: Our God is God, immortal, invisible, immutable, and infinitely wise. Malachi tells us God comes like a refining fire, changing us until we become like him. Ready or not, he has come to us in Christ.
