The Pure Hope of Transformation
Is the glass half full or half empty? What is our basic outlook on life? In difficult times, some cope by anticipating the worst. The world is terrible and it is going to get worse. This is not our heritage. Christians have believed and done the best things in the worst of times, because we know that God wins in the end. Our hope is firmly rooted in the rich soil of God’s love for us as his children. God’s plan to make all of his children become just like Jesus will be fulfilled. If we really believed we are perfectly loved, how hopeful would we be? How would we live? What if our actions today actively contribute to God’s hopeful purpose for our lives?
