Have you ever been surprised by grace? When Ruth went out to glean in the fields, as a sojourner in a strange land, she hoped someone would show her favor. Boaz did, offering her provision and protection. We should all be more like Boaz, but in the meantime, we are all very much like Ruth. We need grace. Good news: we have found favor in Jesus. Will we receive it?
