Which way are we going? If we keep going in the direction we are going, where will we find ourselves when we arrive? Malachi saw the people of Israel turning away from God in deep cynicism. They were headed for trouble. But a righteous remnant of people who feared the Lord and honored his name came together and set their hearts on the Lord. Malachi told them that this new direction would give them a different destiny. Light is powerful. The day of the Lord will be a day of powerful light. This light could consume us, or it could heal us. Our direction determines our destiny.
