Missions
Jesus gives each of his followers a powerful command and a promise of His presence saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” Matthew 28:18-20.
As Tallowood Serves Together, we experience joy in our relationships with one another, with our community, and with God. Serving Together inspires us to continue to abide in Christ, relying on the Holy Spirit, as we advance the gospel in our neighborhoods, in our city, and in the nations.
Upcoming Serve Opportunities
Singles Ministry Mission Project
Beans and rice are a dietary staple in many cultures. The Single Adult Ministry invites your help repacking 50-pound bags of these staples into family-size portions. These staples will be provided to food banks. Meet us in Fellowship Hall West at noon after the worship service on Sunday, September 20. This project moves quickly and will only delay your lunch about 30 minutes. All the materials will be provided, and you don’t need to register in advance. Click HERE for more information. If you have questions, call Mona at 713.851.7256. Bring your kids!
