Connect Groups at Tallowood Baptist Church are foundational to the character of the church. Through our Connect Groups, members are able to relate personally to one another and grow closer to God. The studies are taught by members of the church who are dedicated to the Bible as God’s Word and to faithful and accurate interpretation of truth to all ages in the church.
Groups For Everyone
Tallowood offers Connect Groups on Sunday morning at 9 AM for preschoolers through adults. We also offer studies for women throughout the week, small group studies on Thursdays, and special interest studies at various times throughout the year.
Connect Groups are organized essentially by age, although there are classes that are multi-aged and cross-generational in composition. Each group has the tasks of teaching the Bible accurately, developing the participants in their relationships with one another and God, and reaching other people with the gospel message. The biblical model we follow is expressed in Acts 2. The church understands its tasks to be worship, serving, instructing and evangelizing in the church and community.
