We want you to know that Tallowood has a very important commitment to you and your preschooler. We are committed to providing the very best in care and education for your child through our Preschool Ministry. It is our goal to support you as parents so that we can work together to lay the foundations of your child’s spiritual development. We welcome your help, your questions, and your suggestions. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the Preschool guidelines outlined in this booklet.

Little Blessings
Little Blessings is Tallowood's ministry to couples who are expecting. As you prepare for the birth of your baby, we want to encourage you and provide helpful resources to assist you in the transition of adding a new member to your family. Please let us know if you are expecting a baby. Complete a Little Blessings card which you will find at the Preschool Welcome Center of the West Tower or in the third floor lobby near the Grand Room. You will want to get acquainted with Mary Idiaquez, our Little Blessings Director, who wants to keep in touch with you throughout your pregnancy. September Bible Teaching "Bible"
In September, preschoolers will discover what they can learn from the Bible and when they can use the Bible.
Week of September 5:
Bible Story: “Josiah Read the Bible Scroll”
Scripture Reference: 2 Kings 22:1-20; 23:1-3
Bible Truth: The Bible is an important book.
Life Application: I will hear that the Bible is the most special and important book.
Week of September 12:
Bible Story: “Jesus read the Bible”
Scripture Reference: Luke 4:16-22
Bible Truth: We learn things Jesus did from the Bible.
Life Application: I will discover that the Bible tells about things Jesus did.
Week of September 19:
Bible Story: “Paul wrote a letter”
Scripture Reference: Acts 17:1-4; 1 Thessalonians 1:1-2;3:2,6-8,11-13; 4:9-12, 5:12-18, 25,28
Bible Truth: We learn about God from the Bible.
Life Application: I will learn that people in the Bible wrote about God.
Week of September 26:
Bible Story: “Phillip taught a Man”
Scripture Reference: Acts 8:4-8,26-40
Bible Truth: People learn from the Bible.
Life Application: I will realize that people use the Bible to learn and I can, too.
Mother's Day Out 2010-2011
Mother's Day Out classes meet on Mondays and Fridays from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm September 2010 through May 2011. Classes are for children 3 months to 4 years old.
