Tallowood offers this summer camp for children because God loves children and parents want their children to have fun learning and playing the game of basketball.
Tallowood wants to offer unique child training on offensive and defensive skills. The instructors are fathers and former college players who have provided coach orientation to Kingdom Basketball Coaches for many years but more importantly, have successfully taught and coached their own children how to best play at the elementary through high school levels. Summer Camp Options by Grade Levels (2010-2011 School Year)
1st - 2nd Grades (Boys and Girls)
August 2-6, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
August 9-13, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
3rd - 5th Grade (Boys and Girls)
August 2-6, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
August 9-13, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Offensive Skill Building:
Dribbling, Shooting, Passing, Running the Court
Defensive Skill Building:
Man to Man, Stance, Positioning, Blocking, Rebounding
Team Building:
Running the Court, Playing with the Team
